I fed my ackies roo mince today, it was meant to be for human consumption but it smelt horrible, i wouldnt touch it with a ten foot pole. I guess i dont make a habit of smelling other raw meats though.

I am not a big fan of roo meat but our blue tongue loves it. It goes before the greens do.

Okay, so human grade roo...
...I understand that ALL meat has preservatives but I think you will find that pet roo mince has very high levels. It is generally not recommended by vets etc as some pets get quite sick - was just wondering if this would effect reptiles the same - obviously not an issue if they are eating human grade though...

surely the best meat (if you can get it) is insects or maggots etc.
