I have been keeping two gippies for almost a year now and have noticed that they grow ridiculously slow. They are almost a year old and have been getting fed every day, but they are still only about 30cm TL and about 12cm SVL. They have only grown a few cm since I got them. Has anyone who keeps this species also noticed this?
Cheers Simon. |

I also noticed that the Gippslands I owned grew a hell of a lot slower than my Eastern Water Dragons, even though the Gippies were better eaters and would happily munch on anything I gave them. They just tended to get fatter rather than bigger :-(
