hey i have three pygmy bearded dragons and i cant get them to eat one has eaten two woodies but the rest arnt interested in salad or woodies or crickets how can i get them to eat i have had them sence friday, i have been to to make a mealworm salad but i dont no where to get meal worms from and i heard that mealworms can kill your beardy is this correct. i have them in a fishtank 600*300*300mm with a fly screen top they are kept around 35 degrees up to hot end is this ok they have two hides
any help would be great

What are you using for heat? Are they in the hides? Are they in the hot end or cool end? Fish tanks are not the best as they loose a lot of heat through the glass and the fly screen. Have they got UV light? Are they interested in the food at all or don't even pay attention to it? Do you know of theyw ere eating before you got them? Lots of mealworms can cause impactions cause the chitin layer on the outside can't be digested properly.

yeah its uv light they are up the hot end they arent in there hide i dont think they were handled much as thye dont move when they can see me, they are 6months old and they just walk over the food like it is nothing and dont even try and kill the crickets or woodies

cause u only got them on friday i wouldnt be to worried just yet as it can take a little time for them to settle into there new environment. sounds like your doing everything right just some take time getting use to the change.

My eastern beardy eats mealworms......... The breeder said that they were fine for them
Try your nearest reptile specialist, if you don't try a wildlife park or zoo.
