I live in wa and im interested in getting a Nephrurus Levis Levis are they suitable for a first gecko and how much do they usually cost
I have a 3foot tank is this big enough also what is best to put in the bottom of it I have heard sand isnt recommended
I have also bought a heat mat but do they need a uv light?

Sand is perfect, I keep all mine on sand.
They are great as a first gecko IMO, very hardy and easy to keep.
They do not need UV, but calcium should be supplemented.
They cost around $150 each, I have some for sale currently.
