hi i was just wondering if anyone knows any sites, or can tell me a list of reptiles and what licensces you need for them?

What state are you in? That could greatly limit your options.

If you go to the National Parks & Wildlife site for your state it will tell you, the licensing requirements are eormously different from state to state...

south australia. im looking at getting a fresh water croc sometime in the future. I have a specialist license but am not sure if i need another to get the croc.

im in south astralia aswell i got mum to ring today and found out it 51.50 for 1 year 257.50 for 5 years i no it sucks cos in nsw its 120 for 5 years thats jus keep but this 1 is keep sell buy so yeh it is 1 richmond road keswick jus to the left of the adelaide centre wen u come from princes highway jus go left till u get to the overpass then turn right follow it up to richmond road...so now u know

Im in S.A. specialist permit $90 per year if you have 1 already just need extra endorsment for the croc .My spec permit is croc only.

Thanks for your help everyone. That makes more sense tommo, il wait until ive had the specialist license a year until i apply for the croc.

Iam sure this has been raised before, but what do you guys do when your crocs outgrow the ability for you to keep them? Unless of course you have a specially dedicated enclosure.

In S.A. we get inspected by a N.P.W.S. warden before we are endorsed for the permit ,The adult enclosure had to be built before the hatchy was purchased .The Worden doing my inspection said no growth stunting and no selling off when to large.

Inside area aprox 4mlong 2.5m wide ,outdoor area aprox 6m by 4m both areas contain ponds and land areas.
