for the last 2-3 years, i haven't had a party LOL, anyway im trying to get my parents to buy me a reptile for my birthday, (last year they didn't becasue i got jackies about 3 weeks before my birthday). anyway i need to know the going rates of:
black headed monitors -
desert sand monitors -
gillens monitors - i think its something like $250 - 300
and i need pics to show my parents!

great to hear that you are going to get a monitor, i have ackies, sandys, blackheads (varanus tristas) and mertens, just remember that although they dont grow at a great rate each has a different type of enclosure, i see that you were thinking of a sand monitor - have you thought about a spencers they are very nice looking but they have an excellent temperament - although sand monitors if gotten young can be quite good they are not as even tempered as a spencers,

what do you think of black head, i can't find much info on them....kind of bugs me abit!

I hope they change it, Im pretty sure a decent sized sand is more dangerous than a lacy or spencers on class and sandys are on class one  |
