My New Ackie

Since I got my Ackie a few people have been PM'ing me about putting some pics up. My camera is in't great, and my knowledge of how to use it is about that good too...but I managed a couple of photos today that turned out okay...

Unfortunately the little tyke is going through a shed so his colours are quite dull across his back, they are generally very bright orange/red...The camera has also taken a lot of colour out of the photo (that is red desert sand and a rich dark red brick)...hopefully I can borrow the good camera from work some time this week and take some better photos...

He (I refer to it as 'he') is a WA Sandfire that I purchased off Mark WILTSHIRE in Victoria...

The photos really don't do him any justice...combination of poor camera, poor photographer and a shed

He's a fiesty little beggar - got him out today to give him a 'bath' in some wet paper towel to help with the shed and the little fool puffed up and got ready for a tail-whip!! he's all of 15cm long if he's lucky!

At the moment he is in an 80L tub - I have an enclosure arriving today that he will be moved into with a stack for hiding/basking...(can't put a stack in at the moment because he doesn't mind trying to jump on occasion)...the blue/purple thing is a tissue box which has been cut so that at it's deepest it is about 1cm high and at it's narrowest is about 5mm, then pushed into the dirt with a tiny opening - he loves it come night time and squeezes in tightly...
