That's because it doesn't have one, the temp achieved will depend on a whole heap of variables such as depth of sand, room temp, enclosure material and a heap of others.

If you want to accurately control the temp you will need to buy a probe thermostat to hook up to it.

Is it possible to keep both species (levis levis) + (amyae or asper) in the same enclosure.

nope asper/ amyae will eat the levis

Ive applied for the reptiles license . A pet shop owner told me that when i receive the license i will be given a sheet with retailers. Is this true? and im after either an asper or an amyae . Does anybody know where i can find any of these geckos.

I bought a thermostat today for my heat mat. Instructions were rubbish. Im confused, I can input a temperature setting for it to turn off when it reaches that certain temperature.

But can i actually set it to say 26degrees celsius at all times?
