I am assuming they are T.rugosa rugosa but they have the T.r.asper tail

Yes they are T.rugosa rugosa. I have not seen enough asper to compare the tails.
Whats the difference b/w asper and rugosa? I just thought a stumpy was a stumpy

well there is 3 subspecies currently recognised in W.A
Tiliqua rugosa rugosa, T.r. palarra and T.r.konowi
and even though T.r.asper has been recorded on the western side of the S.A border, it is generally considered as the eastern form of Shingleback, bobtail, stumpytail, pinecone lizard or whatever people choose to call it.
