Ornate Horned Frogs/pictures

These are my two Ornate Horned Frogs (Ceratophrys ornata) which I recently got.
They are cb and about 2 months old.

wow they are amazing, i havent seen one of those before, how much do they usually sell for?

They sell for around 70 Aus. Dollars.

They are rare in Europe and are mostly imported from the USA.

oh cool, ill have to see if i can find anyone selling in s.a i was just on the phone to stuart (aussiefrogs) earlier asking him what frogs he has at the moment i should ask about those hehe funky looking little buggers arnt they

As they are exotics and are distributed in South America you won't be able to get them
in Australia, sorry!

No, unfortunately they aren't legal in Australia.

lol @ rotund I love rotund frogs! Cute little fat frogs are awesome.

Haha, yes, they are rotund indeed , but they are still slim for this species , hehe!

No, they aren't poisonous.

But there's an Argentinian myth.

They say when the "Escuerzo" (that's how they call him) bites a grazing horse in its lips
it would die after this bite, because of the venom in his mouth.

Therefore you should only feed them with a long feeder forceps.
