can someone please post a pic of their gecko enclosures so that i can get a basic understanding of how to set it up.

Do a search, some show GeckoDan's enclosures, there have been a few posts that show his AMAZING setups, he has stacks of Exo-Terra tanks and more.
They show both terrestrial and arboreal setups

Out of the gex I keep (N.amyae, U.milii, D.tesselatus, D.steindachneri, N.levis levis, O.tryoni & D.williamsi) only the williamsi are arboreal - so here's a pic of their set up for you....

Hey
Here is a very basic enclosure I designed pretty much myself with glass & peg board - or you can use wire mesh I guess. Anyway a 25W globe in the enclosure with a cage over it is shared between 2 x enclosures with a divider in the middle. Ambient of 26 degrees & heat near to globe/cage is about 30 degrees - globe uses a basic dimer.
