I was wondering if anyone knows much about Pygmy Bearded Dragons?
i would love to get one, as they stay small. Are they a matural occurance or where they "created"
How big do they grow? and are they easy to come by?
Cheers
Jess

theyre not as common as beardies but i've seem them being sold occasionally. http://www.reptilesaustralia.com.au/...ck%20soil.html

Pygmy Bearded Dragons are also known as Black Soil Dragons (Pogona henrylawsonii). I bought two from CodeRed this season and they are just beautiful, I don't have any photos of them unfortunately. I saw quite a few for sale ads up until about a month ago so I don't think they are very hard to get during the breeding season. They are about half the size of the Central Beardies.

| | | | Pygmies Hi Guys,
I bought some from a guy in Ermington (sort of west north west sydney) only a couple of weeks ago. I keep pygmies as even my wife seems to adore them. Even when they get fired up they are cute.
That was until i found one of my pygmies dead with its legs missing. Seems one of the other males took offence to him sharing the enclosure.
Anyway, to cut a long story short, when i bought mine there were still a few left so im waiting on the guy to get back to me as i want to add some more to my collection.
If i find out he has more to sell ill post back and get him to contact you..... | | |
