nice krusty, i have a big enclosure, 4x1x1 melamine with glass front left over, would it be 2 big or alrite. coz i no they like 2 run around...

use half the enclosure sound like a better idea than a colony...no offence...i just dont want to have like 3 clutches of 150.

150??? they only have 1-3 eggs per clutch if thats what your talking about.

While 4x1x1 is bigger then needed, as long as they have adequate hiding places it will be fine.

oops! I stand corrected. and can u use a heat mat? if so, can it cover the whole enclosure? and at what degrees? so can i use the enclosure if i have many hiding places?

Have the heat matt cover on the third or so of the enclosure so they have a heat gradient and can choose the cooler side if they wish. Generally, yes, if you provide enough hides around the enclosure, they will not feel as vulnerable in such a large space. Just make sure they are all feeding and good luck. They are a wonderful pet

i only want 2 keep 2, thanx horsy. and wat degrees should i have the heat mat at? and wat substrates do u use and how thick?

If you only want to keep 2 youll only need a 1ftx1ftx1ft mayber 2ft, but DEF not a 4ft. Its a bit of a waste of an enclosure. Id honestly put a diff species in there like beardys, a monitor or a colony of larger more active gex
