Varanus Brevicauda

Was wondering if anyone has had experience with these guys, in the wild or in captivity? Also, how common are they in captivity! I think i remember coming across them at approx. $1k... does that sound right? Such cute little guys, always loved em

Agreed! My eyes are open... I'm about to sell my car, so I'll have the cash lol

-edit-

If anyone knows of keepers/breeders, I'd love to know, a PM would be great. Cheers

Australian monitor, Pygmy short-tailed monitor. Smallest monitor species in the world, and IMO, gorgeous too something like 12cm max S-V length...

There are better sites, but this has the basics, and a pic.
