Mine are up and about during the day (napping for a while of course) but hunker down and sleep all night with no activity levels...occasionally I hear a minor movement but just seems to be getting comfortable whilst sleeping

|  | Regular Member | | | | | One of mine just sleeps all day and all night and the other has a scoot round his tank at night before going into his cave to sleep, its like he is checking that all the doors are locked. I'm probley driving you made with questions but I think thats the best way to learn ask the ppl with experience. Thanks again |

One main reason they like to bask while sitting straight up with their head pointed up is because they absorb more UVB through their ventral side such as their beard, chest & chin area than they do their back because of thinner skin & less scales there.
