Hey ive got this gecko but im unsure what type it is.. ive got it an 600x300x400 tank wit red dirt, rock to hid in, fake plants,water dish,13W heat mat on 1 end an a UV light, i need to know how long do i keep the heat mat on for or even when do i put it on?.., When is the best time for the UV light?.. thankz..  |

Oedura lesueurrii - Lesueur's Velvet Gecko.
Husbandry wise they are very simple - sand, water, hide, not too hot, not too cold and they thrive. The question is, if you've obtained this animal legally, which we all trust you've done, should you know exactly what species it is?
