I am going to bring home the pro strength UV light I use at work to see what the
differance is as apposed to the light I used on these guys.

This might sound stupid... but if you go out herping etc. and you take one of those, could it assist in finding scorps to look at? Or is it really not strong enough to spread that far?

with the 14 led light you have to aim at the scorpion , the 68 led you can see them 10 meters in front of you and the 101 led light you can see them glowing 20 meters in front of you . its quiet an amazing experience in total darkness and these fluro scorpions start to shine amongst the leaf litter
