I might get deleted for chit chat, but great photography and beautiful snakes, well done. Do you have a pic of old kinky in full, so I can check out his pattern? How does he feed?
Cheers...

Thanks for the comments.

I'll take a couple more pics over the weekend, weather permitting as the sunlight really brings out their orange/brown colouring. In the meantime the last pic on the right hand side of the bottom set pf pics is a pic of the kninked neck males pattern - he's got pretty good banding.

Has been progressing feed item wise the same as the pair I've held back for myself - I can't see anything else wrong with him except the kink in his neck.

Cheers
David

Was he born with the kink? Has the kink been a problem when the snake feeds or sloughs?

I had a very similar kink in a Port Mac and she progressively got worse over the course of a year and in the end she couldn't feed or slough without my assistance. I had to give her a shallow water bowl because she couldn't lift her head 4" high to reach in the deeper one! She has been gone nearly 4 months....RIP Charlie

Yes he was - I had some temperature problems during the incubation with a week of over 40 degree days followed by a 24hr blackout!

Hasn't shown any signs of it progressively getting worse & like I said before it moves around, sheds & eats normally & is now 6 months old.

I have a kinked necked hypo that is 18 months old. The kink poses no problems for her feeding or sheding, so other than the obvious visable difference, she thrives just like any other snake. I guess the woma would be just the same!
