Digital Thermostats

Electronic Thermostat
Replace that old unreliable mechanical thermostat with a modern digital unit. This unit will switch 5 amps @ 240VAC resistive (3A inductive) between 5 & 35°C. (Great for reptiles)

You simply set the temperature on the LCD display & the thermostat will switch on below that temperature and switch off above it. This compact unit measures 75mm square & 30mm deep.-
Will mount on any flat surface with two screws.-

Power connection via screw down terminal block.- Supplied with instructions & mounting template.- Batteries not included.
It runs on 2 x AAA batteries.-
This did concern me a little but after using them for the last 6 months they are still going strong and provide a warning when batteries are getting low

I Have Changed over to this style of thermostat and they are great I have a few extra as I ordered a bulk amount and am offering them to you.
Theses thermostats are very accurate and allow only a .5 deg variation either side of set temperature

Price $45.00 each + Postage.

The display goes blank, then they go to the default setting of 21 degrees.

well when batteries died on mine, that in turn turns the thermostat off so the heat emitter didnt come on, so yes temps went down

still a few left
When the batteries do die evenchally after the display has been flshing a few days
then yes the thermostat turns off no display no lights no danger as long as you change the batteries when they are flat there is no worries
it is no differant to the bulb blowing
it will be no issue there will be no overheating
and after setting temps the stat then desplays the temp it is picking up so its like having a thermometer in the enclosure all the time and you can tell if the bulb is blown just by looking at display
it also displays heat on the screen when the heat source should be on
im using them with ceramics and its easy to tell if its the bulb is not working just by looking at the temp on the display.
Personally i find them alot better that the imit stats and very easy to adjust set the temp you want and thats the temp you get no question. you can also run through a timer for cooling and your temp setting is not affected it does not reset with loss of power
The only time it resets is if you were to let the batteries run completly flat. or you press in the countersnk reset button (your animal would not be ably to press the reset)
Ohh did i mention these are great im in love.
