Hi everyone..
Does anyone know a place to get ahold of hollow logs and the likes in the SYD area... and I dont mean paying over $100 for a 3ft log from a petshop...
More than happy to pay resonable prices if someone has some out in their yard, or if anyone knows any nurseries that sell them or bird breeders would be great, I only need 2-4 nice 2-3ft logs, with hollows of 5-10cm Diameter.
Cheers.

Most fire wood yards will have them.
My local yard used to put them aside for me.
Id pay $100 for 20 hollows.
I would chisel them out a bit more, cut a hole in the side and wack a lid on.
They made great hides / snake kennels.

Do you sell those?
aliveandkicking - Just last week I met this really cool 14 year old online. She was really funny, witty and from her pic that she sent me she was really cute. We decided to meet up at the local McDonalds after she finished work. When I got there she told me she was an undercover cop. How cool is that at her age? |

I used to, but no longer have the time anymore.
It would take up a hole weekend making 20 to 30 of them.
I should do another lot though, as Id make $35 profit on each one.
Thats $700 if I knock up 20 |

As mentioned try wood yards, but you could also try an arborist/tree lopper they may be able to help
