G'day everyone, I was down at Canberra Zoo for a visit today and took some pictures, so thought I'd share them for whoever wants to see them. I'm a 'point and click' photographer with a small, one piece handheld little camera so these photos are basically totally amateur in every way based on some of the pics I've seen on this site. Not trying to waste anyone's time, just thought someone might enjoy them.
Also, I'm very new to this, don't even own a reptile, so I've tried to remember all the right names, but if I've got them wrong please feel free to correct me. These pics are obviously taken through glass so unfortunately some smudges are apparent. The Zoo doesn't have a very large reptile section so there's not a huge variety...having said that, enjoy

I go down to Canberra Zoo a few times each year - I always enjoy it but always leave disappointed in the reptile section - they have a disappointingly small selection of Native reptiles - somewhat of a shame for the National Zoo...
...in saying that though, their big cats (particularly the Cheetahs - not some much the Ligers/Tigrons ) - are great...

Thanks Simon, I agree with you about the reptile section, while the animals are kept in great condition, it is unforgivably small.
The Tigons(?) were not out today, their section was closed off. I have seen them before though and didn't quite know what to make of them.
However, all the other cats were out today, including that beautiful King Cheetah.

Glad you like them mate. Sorry bout not putting down the names of the animals, I didn't quite work out that part when attaching them, lol. However, most of you here know these animals off by heart anyway I figure | | |
