my diamond python is about to shed and i was wondering i've started misting her cage today to help her shed she seems not to soak she will drink but not soak so i wondered would misting her cage every day or every second day be alright to help her shed and my mum brought me light bulbs there 18watt but they work like a 90watt bulb well thats what it says on the packet

If the temperatures are right and there's enough water for her to soak in, there should be enough humidity in the enclosure without misting. Mine rarely soak but they shed OK...

I haven't noticed any noses seeming white, but I can tell mine are ready to shed by their duller colour, they usually reject a feed before shedding, and of course the milky eyes are a giveaway. Anywhere up to 10 days from when I notice the snaked getting ready to shed is normal.

Shedding doesn't necessarily mean your python will start soaking itself. Soaking is often a sign of a mite infestation rather than just a need to loosen up the skin, ie it's not a bad thing your diamond's not soaking, that's normal.Howard's right: You shouldn't really need to mist the tank unless you live in an especially dry area (I'm sorry I've forgotten where you're from).
Just chill and your diamond will probably take care of everything itself.
