| | | | I used to live in Cairns and bred Storrs when i was there, they were easy to breed. They are smaller than Acanthurus so you don't need as large an enclosure. I succesfully incubated the eggs on a rack in a plastic container with about an inch of water in the bottom ranging temps of 28-32 Like most animals in the region they start getting frisky at the beginning of the wet and you should expect your first hatchlings in end Dec through Jan. They like to bury their eggs so my enclosures had deep floors with about 25cm of river sand in them which I always tried to keep a bit moist. When the females are ready to lay they will actively start digging around looking for a good spot so you have to keep a careful eye on them.
They are a highly active social and intelligent lizard. |  | |
