yey! ive finally decided what i want to get, ive been thinking about either ackies or pygmy beardies, and (of course ill eventually end up with both lol) and ive decided on ackies :yes:
now, the research part!

i was wondering of you could answer some questions for me, and if there are any detailed care sheets running around for keeping ackies.

1 how big do they get?

2 what is minumum cage size requirements for adult ackies?(i will provide bigger)

3 how often are they fed? and what time of day?

4 what are they fed and how often each?

5 what are the temps required?

6 what is the best substrate? (to avoid impaction etc) and how often should it be changed?

7 what cage accesories (sp?) can be/should be used?

8 can they be handled, or should they remain 'display only'?

9 if a hatchy is purchased, (most likely) when should they be moved onto sand? (or other suggested substrate)

10 if there is anything i have missed, please dont hesitate to ask/say ;D

2 what is minumum cage size requirements for adult ackies?(i will provide bigger) I use a 1200 x 600 x 500 H

3 how often are they fed? and what time of day? When there warmed up and we feed every second day.

4 what are they fed and how often each? Woodies, pinkies, mince

5 what are the temps required? 40 to 70 c

6 what is the best substrate? (to avoid impaction etc) and how often should it be changed? Paper, breders choice, once a mth or so.

7 what cage accesories (sp?) can be/should be used? Places to hide, brances, rocks etc there on the go a lot

8 can they be handled, or should they remain 'display only'? Ok to handle them ours love to be out and will sit on my sons hand.

9 if a hatchy is purchased, (most likely) when should they be moved onto sand? (or other suggested substrate)

10 if there is anything i have missed, please dont hesitate to ask/say ;D
