hatchy comes before juvi, yearling comes after that (at one year of age).... subadult next, and adult at around 3 years or when average adult size is reached for the species.

I just use this rough guideline:

Hatchling: Hatched to 3 months
Juvenile: 3 months to - 12 months
Yearling: 12 months to 18 months
Sub-Adult: 18 months to 24 months
Adult: 24 months and over

It's really up to the person I guess though, my Stimson and Murray Darling are both 5 months old, so I just label them as Juveniles
