AHS meeting on Wednesday

Next meeting of the Australian Herp Society (that's the Sydney one) is this Wednesday night, 25th May, at 7.30pm. Australian Museum, cnr College and Willliam Sts, Sydney.

This month's meeting is the AGM, followed by the annual Auction. We'll probably also hear a report on the field trip earlier this month - to the Bluetongue Brewery, tour and tasting!

Apple,
Anyone can go, just sign in !
Not sure if the Auctions open to non-members though, anyone clarify that? jonny?
Either way, you can still go along and meet up with the APS members and have a chin wag!

Membership is $33 a year, or $25 without the journal Herpetofauna. Non-Members are always welcome. As I understand it (but I could be wrong) non-members can participate in the auction.

The items for auction will probably be brought on the night, I have no idea what is up. Most of the stuff is books and accessories etc. Last one I was at a couple of years back they had frozen rats and food stuffs, fish tanks, books, hooks, TOD, BC etc. and other things for sale (most second hand). I saw a pair of crocodile tooth earrings one year. If you want to donate something to the auction yourself, then bring it along.

I may be wrong, but I believe there may be some reptiles available, but don't hold me to that.

Yes, non-members can attend as normal. First-timers free and returns at
$5.00 (with 3 free draw tickets). They are also welcome to bid in the
auction, but will not be allowed to possess the goods until payment is
settled.

Animals will be available for auction

I will see you there, probably only briefly tho

Does this mean that members get a certain amount of time to settle their bids?? Please explain Jonny.
