Just wanted to know if my Diamond Python can dine on something other than rats?! Today I finally got her to have fresh kill, after alot of failed attempts at frozen... I must admit though that I don't like killing rats, its very yuk. (Lots of blood). I used a snap rat trap. I know that snakes in the wild eat eggs but has anyone had any success feeding their snakes eggs? It sounds too easy, throwing in a chicken egg every now and then...

Chicken Drummies are a good sometimes food.... as long as your feeding full animals in between so that it can get all the nutrients that it would require I don't think it's a problem.
Cheers,
Ishka

Is the drumstick bone too big for her? maybe I should start with some wings? She is pretty big, she eats fully grown rats.
