Well I picked them up a couple of weeks ago from the airport and as soon as I got home one of my females looked very sick, I gave the guy a call (PM me for the breeders name) and told him straight away that one of the females looks very sick, her body was all manky looking and she wouldn’t move at all. He said she was fine when she left which I find hard to believe as she only came down from SA to Sydney.
I took her to the vet and the vet had her for a week to see if she would recover but she just got worse and $300 later we had to put her down, anyway the guy is refusing to give me back my money for this particular female. I cant believe some people out there, I just spent over $12000 and all I asked for was $2000 back and ill send him the vet report and body of the dead woma if need be.
He sent all 6 snakes crammed in the one little esky box on a hot day and with her being the smallest she should have been in a separate box, or two to three snakes max sent in the one box but instead I find her down the bottom of the pile with the bigger snakes on top of her when I picked them up from the airport.
We are just waiting on the vet report now to see if we can take it further with a solicitor, the vet reckons she was definitely sick for a while before we even got her and he is taking further samples of her to complete the report.
I can’t believe people out there would sell a sick or injured animal to someone and think they can get away with it, well I hope this guy gets what he deserves. It makes me sick in my stomach and makes me so angry that we have people like that in our hobby.

I would definitely take it to the hilt with the solicitors. Common sense would say that you are guaranteed a win and compensation for your trouble. This guy will be dragging his own name through the mud.
And yes very sad that there are people like this in the hobby...I would have liked to have thought that we would all look after each other...but it's not the case.
How are the other snakes? |

$12000 that is not hobby money
The sooner we get a registry micro chipping and history on animals like every other animal of m value the better!! |

Flat-out refusing just shows what this guy is made of. Whether it's 12k or 1200, there's a principle at stake & if we all keep publicising these type of incidents, maybe we can free our hobby of these parasites.
