Anti snake surface.

Does anyone know of an anti snake surface. When I clean the cage I put my snake on a branch that is screwed to a flat piece of timber to keep it upright. I always have him in full veiw as I'm cleaning. Some days he will just sit there but others he will keep trying to get off. I was wondering if anyone has come across a surface that I could put on the base that he will not cross?

It means why do you want such a surface the possible ramifications would be stress to the animal.

If it is for cleaning remove the animal from the tank, bag it tub it whatever easy

go the pillow case with a red rubber band around the opened end.. Or move the branch into a Ozmesh enclosure thing.

.

water can be an effective deterrent if cool enough.

i would just go with a click clack or pillow case as mentioned before

building a big enough moat to surround your snake would not be worth the effort...

When I clean out my snakes enclosures I feed them at the same time... Thus putting them into a tub... with a Lid.... They are content in there with a full belly then too
