LOL! | Mites is one of those things that nearly everyone that has kept snakes for any length of time will eventually get!
I have bought snakes before which I have checked over, but a few days later once home and warmed up have shown a few mites! The little buggers are a pain but nothing to be ashamed of  .

I'm not sure what they look like exactly (I've not seen any yet) but I'm sure, as you say- I will one day.

I've had them on new snakes and never had an issue with them contaminating my others. |

We have been asked by a product manufacteur to help find them someone that has mites, so they can use the established product and evaluate it for the purpose of filing an application with the relevent governing body, so they can supply the product as a reptile specific product, with the correct labeling etc.

A few prominent herpers have been evaluating them for a season, to come up with stocking rates. They are very impressed with the results.
No chemicals required, an agent will be acting on behalf of the company and they will be available this Spring, Summer. | | | |
