Well done Nick! Nice little fellas you have there. I'm interested in the little tissue ring in their containers and the little bit of goop... is it leftover egg stuff?

The eggs were on fine grade vermiculite (all I had at the time) and the last lot of hatchies got covered in the stuff! This time, when the eggs were slitting I carefully transfered them to sit on damp paper towel, the tissue rings were made to stop the eggs rolling over LOL- they weren't incubated in some weird manner Won't do this normally as the other eggs are on coa rse grade verm or perlite.

The goo is from inside the eggs- after the gex were out I tore open the eggs and examined the 'scraps' for interest sake, eggs and bits were popped back into the tub for the photo. Both of them shed at the same time so some off the stuff you can see is skin.
