The end result was that someone saw that Slatey's family weren't going to be at home and he lost his favourite snake to thieves. For that reason, people have been organising get-togethers via PM or email with people they think they can trust.
I guess it wouldn't be a problem if you had a good security system, or someone was going to be at home, but it should serve as a warning to be a little careful about what you say in a public forum. |
