I found at bunnings a work light with a clamp that will clamp onto the side of a fish tank. Had to cut some of the plasic away so the light shines down but looks neat and was about $12

Just got some camo cloth from spotlight. The sides and top are just ply wood with the cloth wrapped around and stapled on the back. The plywood and the rock background keep the heat a bit better than just having the tank by itself.
