All you need is a pillowcase and a 6pack foam esky with air holes. Is much cheaper to send livestock as 'accompanied luggage' if you can find someone flying Vic to Brisbane. Even if you have to advertise for someone who is flying that way, it would probably still be cheaper. Good luck, hope you find a solution. |

I googled "Aust Post" and found the "Aust post" web site then typed in "animal" into their search box. There was a list of articles containing the word and the fifth or sixth one was titled "regulations". You can work out the rest. |

for those exact reasons would you belive this email Quote:
'Mick ,
Pythons are not mammals & because of the way I package them I guarantee they arrive fit & healthy. They also are not dangerous goods . I buy my live cockroaches & crickets thru post all the time & never have a problem.
I have had trouble with other freight companies (inc. rail) with some parcels just never arriving , probably stolen .
The only other way to freight is airport to airport but I live to far away from Melbourne , & it costs about $60.00 + . Not worth it.
| I dont think i will deal with him if thats the way he treats his animals who knows what i will get if its still alive and not squashed !
