Aus ZOO visit DUW

Went to australia zoo at chrissy, It's good to see steve (rip) pumped his money into his animals and their housing, more animal parks should take a leaf out of his book.
Awesome animals and set ups. If you haven't been here your missing out, great animal park.

yes they still have the really light croc. It's in one of the 3 clear water pool opposite the food court area. Crocodulus in darwin have one too from memory which isn't very good these day thay called it the bannana croc because of it's yellow colour both are awesome looking animals.

the woma's at the park are se qld woma's do any of the woma people keep these? Apparently they are becoming rare/endangered in the wild, quite different to the other forms colour wise and they look quite striking.

Apparently the lighter colour isn't that rare of an occurence. Just in the wild they get preyed apon as youngster because they can't camaflauge into their environment as well.
Plus in the wild out of a nest of eggs only about 5% or less survive to 12 months old.
Tough being a little croc in a big wild world. Survival of the fittest, got to love natural selection.

Beautiful pics, and yes his park is superb, I've always said its the best park I've seen. A lot of hard work and pride goes into that place, a credit to him, his family and his staff!! Thanks for sharing the pics I can't wait to get back down there.
