Australian Reptile Park

I had the pleasure of spending most of the day today at the Australian Reptile Park.

I would just like to say that it was a great day, there are plenty to see and do, the main guy that runs the show, Mike, is a legend.

There are some great exhibits with the snakes and lizards in pits, much more room for them to be in a natural environment.

I did notice that they had changed the sign that was posted in another thread of the "scared kingfisher" to the "sacred kingfisher" and some of the snakes they have there on display are great. Spent some time looking at the camelion as they always seem to entriuge me.

Downside is the cost of food once inside, but that is made up for by the great shows and exhibits on display.

The only downside to the day was that after the vist to Gosford we went to the local shop here in Mt Druitt where some low scum decided he liked my navman more than I did and kicked in the side window of the car and took it.

Other than that I fully recomend a trip up to Gosford to check it out.

Cheers
Richard

good 2 hear you enjoyed it but it sux that your navman got pinched, people like that need to get off their asses, get a job and buy 1 themselvs, but since they probably sold it for drug money, work for the drug money

And there was a kookaburra in the Lacemonitors enclosure so they were biting the bird.People who worked at the reptile park got the bird out but it looked dead.

Ah yes. The old adage. "What the eyes don't see the heart doesn't grieve for"

At least you had a good day otherwise.

Any photos?
