Hi,
Is it nessesary for me to have a Calcium Block in the water as well as a UVA/UVB light or is just the UVA/UVB light enough for my Baby Long-Necked Turtle to recieve calcium for his shell?

i used to dip food into calcium powder before i put it in..i used to chop up liver really fine and mix some calcium powder into the bag like dusting cakes. if you feed pond snails to them too they will get the calcium they need too
