bad snake dreams

i had a bad dream the other night that my snake was dead and i woke up, jumped out of bed to check him in his tank and he was fine. never felt my heart sink so bad in my life.

if anyone has had bad dreams about there babies would like to hear them.

When i was younger i had nightmares that my brothers snake was going to bit me and hunt me down. Anyways, after that, i faced my fears and held him on a regular basis (more then my bro) and since then have had a love for snakes ever since.

i have dreams like this,that something happens to one of my snakes ,or my blue tongue lizard
i even had a dream recently that my favourite snake who had an opertaion but had to be euthanazed on the the operating table,who i buried in the back yard
came back to life but still was cut open from the operationslithering around

Bah! I have crazy snake dreams all the time! Mine are mostly greatly exagerated or animated. Kinda like snakes on a plane.

i had an awful dream last night that my snake was eating my two pet rats... and they were still alive and biting him while he was eating them.

i had a dream once that my roof was food of cobras and they were tuneling threw the roof, and one came threw and landing my bros jacket, we ran out of the house got the snake it struck haps than we tghrew it down the drain

nah.. ive had HEAPS of weird snake dreams! once i was surrounded by heaps of tiger snakes and they were talking to me
and then the rebel one wanted to bite me coz i was crampin its style with its gf snakie.. i got no idea, all my dreams are weird ones lol

I once had a dream that my cousin and I were being chased by black snakes

woke up the next morning to find a red bellied black snake about 1.5 metres from my bed.

When I got my first snake I had this weird dream that she had managed to get out of her enclosure...I had to go and check she was still there

They say that dreaming of death is something to do with a new begnning.....so the wifes book of dreams says anyway.

I had a simmilar dream about my kids many times just before their birthdays, even to the point where i'd wake up with tears pooring down my face from crying in my dreams

An old dream book my mother had stated snake dreams are a foreboding of evil. If the snake bites you and you die then evil will win. If the snake attempts to bite you but not successfully then you will over come the evil etc blah blah blah.
Personally, I dream of finding snakes, watching them, catching them and occasionally being bitten by them every few days and when I wake up in the morning it's been a good sleep lol oddly enough I only ever dream of pythons and usually Coastal Carpets.

When I was working at Venom Supplies, I had this horrible recurring dream about doing a call out, and finding a Indo-Chinese Spitting Cobra. It was always tangled in some sort of ground covering plant, and every time I tried to catch it, it would bite me on the inside of my forearm. It was really surreal, I would just watch this little snake casually bite my arm, but I was strangely calm about it at first.

As soon as I stopped working there, the dreams stopped too. I'm not sure why I had them, as they weren't really difficult or hard to handle.
