OOPS! lol sorry Olive, misread ya post! thought you meant feed it to the snake!
Maybe if it had a virus or something , the snake might catch it?
still, if you suspect your beardy is sick, a vet visit is the best thing. Nope mine have never had parasites, i feed live crix, woodies etc, but these arnt wild ones (insect). No reason I know of that insects should give them parasites excepting some worms if fed apparently.
What makes you think your little beardy is sick?

I would really like to get one of the reddish/orengeish color morphs.(like the one beknluke posted) I have seen them at pet shops for $150-200, but I would like to know how much they would go for elsewhere.
I want one but I need to try to slide it into the budget. I really only want to get one of the red morphs for now. they are so very cool. also if they are in victoria it would be great.

Beautiful Beardies!

They are magnificent! congrats to you all on your perfect healthy beasts.
Here are some real morphs from the US trade.
http://www.sandfiredragonranch.com/

Our vitticeps actually 'phase' and they're the only beardie species that hold definite colour. Barbatus rarely have ochre, red or orange colours of the inlands.
The ones in the US are vitticeps and they have been inbred to develop, pinks, lavenders, lemons and more.

Ours are a stronger breed though and I think that's more important than colouring.

Jarvis: Jaffa cost me $250 and was sold to me as a red. I think she is more intense orange.
But, if I had the cash and the animal was INCREDIBLY UNREAL, I would spend up to $400 per animal I guess!! lol - I'm crazy!!
