Question Beardie light timer?

Hey all,
just a quick question, i have two young central beardies with a uv fluro tube and a 75 watt basking light, should i have the two of them on a 12 hr timer or should the basking light not be on for quite as long?

if your variance is controlled..........temp at head height at basking site,36-38 & your temp at the other end ..cool end is 20-23 you can run both by the same timer
i run my lights with the season.. on at sun up & off at sun down... if you have trouble with that as temps differ from state to state .... if it gets too hot ,which off...they need minimum of 4hrs U.V pr day & enough heat to heat up to eat & digest

i am looking into a thermostat that dims itself so it actually doesnt turn lights off but turns them down..,just like the sun as at its highest temp around 2pm as this will be...as switching your heat light & U.V light off & on ,manual or by timer decreases the life of the lights.
