Beardie PMS?

I've noticed that over the last week or less my male beardie( november 2007 Born) has been acting rather odd. Hes been really unhappy to be handled and cage defensive ie. Hissing, flaring out his beard etc. Any ideas on what might be causing this? Nothing has changed in the last week or in the last 2 months and he is housed on his own as he was being bullied by my smaller female when i originally purchased them.

I don't know much about lizards, mate (I keep snakes at the moment), but the only thing that makes my boy act a little stroppy (he hides, sulks, won't eat) is if he's shedding.

Have you noticed any signs in your beardie?

yeah he has been shedding his tail and back legs but i wouldn't have thought that shedding made a difference to dragons?

my big girls get a bit sooky when theyre shedding, and the little ones dont even seem to notice it, theyre in a constant state of shedding.

maybe hes fallen and hurt himself or something?

i wouldnt think a 2 month old dragon could be hormonal yet,...
