Question beardies

my female central beardy approx 6mts is always digging hole and burying herself

WHY

didnt know why but a quick search on"digging beardies" says its normal behaviour and nothing to worry about. Maybe check your temps in case its a bit too warm and she's trying to cool down but she's prob just found a fun way to pass the time.

all my girls have done this...starting at a early age!..little buggers

ditto on temps...be careful

take allot of sand out...so its not more than 2 cm deep...she wont be able to dig!

Its natural behaviour.....do some research into instinctual behavoiurs. They arent a domestic pet remember.

Mine have plenty of hides and still do it. As i said its a natural behaviour.

Yeah, they're trying to hibanate for winter (the correct word is bumate...i think) if they're young its not a good idea to let them do it though, up you temps.

changing the furnishings in the habitat help...take some out...put some new in
lower the sand...
give them a bath...different smells,diffeent veg..it does help
