A few people have had albino hatchlings over the years, as far as I am aware no-one has ever raised one to adulthood. The hatchlings were produced by crossing two hets, and not the offspring of an adult albino beardie.

He had hatchlings, but as far as I am aware they all died.

No-one has raised an albino beardie hatchling to adulthood - at least, if they have, they have managed to keep it very well hidden so far

Hmmm I'm yet to see pics

Like I said, if he does, he's kept it very well hidden.

I personally would love to see adult albino beardies.

This season Bob switched his males, and so far they have produced 10 albino's from 50 hatchlings. There was 1 albino in the first clutch and 9 appeared in the 2nd clutch... and with another clutch still incubating - who knows what his ratios will stop at! One thing is for certain at a 20% hatch rate of albinos this is definitely no fluke...
That was from that link Miss B posted.
I don't think it's not impossible for him to have albino adults.

I think Bob Withey produced those albino's way back in 2002, and was unable to raise any of them to adult size. They all died while young. There are a few others who have tried to raise albino beardies, all with the same result (as far as I am aware).

There have been rumours that someone is breeding albino beardies and that they have managed to keep them alive right through to adulthood. These are supposedly unrelated to Bob Withey's line.

I agree with Miss B,
I was also told the same story, produced albinos but none survived.

Albino is a basic default in bloodline..........same as human.....heaps of complications with health,
from being deaf & or blind..........effects eating & balance.........love the white beardie...
WOULD NOT WANT ALBINO!... we would be weakening strength in bloodlines!

My opinion ...& dont mean to offend anyone!

the main problems that occurred, to my understanding is UVB, as they have a hard time with it, and because of this often result in severe cases of MBD..

poor things, i think its something we shouldnt go into.. especially for a sun loving lizard.
