Belly Burn

I have problem that I could use some advice on . One of my Darwins , a 5ft female , got herself past the cover on the heat lamp and toasted about 1ft of her belly . She doesnt seem destressed at all unless you touch the area . Will this heal on its own or is there something I can do ?:

How bad is the burn?
You should be getting it down to your local reptile vet.
And do you have cages in your enclosures?

Vet for sure 1 foot is a mighty big burn, she would be very vulnerable to an infection.

The burn is more of a discolouration . She will be off to the vet asap and the cover has been changed .

Is the wound sticky at all? If it is what substrate is she currently on?

The vet seems like the best idea at this point

Get her on a newspaper substrate if she's not already. Remove any branches etc that may irritate her stomach if she climbs over them. Just to be safe you can put an ointment like Silvazine on the burn but most times it's not necessary. Snakes are great healers and your snake will soon go into a shed to help heal the burn. Over a few sheds it will clear and that area will no longer be painful to her. As long as there are no open sores you can handle this problem yourself.
