ok what do you think the best substrate for incubating eggs and why. i have read alot of diffenant things about mould and water.and has anyone use a product called hatch rite.

virmiculite, or however its spelt, the higher the grade, the better it is for incubation

Vermiculite or the no medium method where the eggs kept in an airtight container and suspended on a tray or rack above water are the best ways to go.
I personally use vermiculite and have always had a high hatch rate.

You can get vermiculite from nursery's or hydroponic stores etc, or you could probably order it online.

i was going have a mixture of that bark stuff and smooth pebbles...any thoughts?
