black soiled beardies...would it be ok.....

to keep 1 by it's self or do they do better in captivity with a friend?? (ie 2 beardies)
and would a 2 foot tank be ok to keep 1 back soiled dragon in.

should be ok on its own,..if u do get more than one u might have to seperate them when they hit puberty cos they fight.

I have 2 pygmys together- no problem there. They always bask next to each other and chase crickets together. I think it;s more fun for them if they have a buddy.

I think the crucial part is for their enclosure to be big enough to comfortably house the 2 together. Also have a couple of basking spots so they don't fight over the one and a couple of caves so if they wish they can have one each.

In saying that though, you never know, each beardie is different. If you decide to get 2, just observe how they go and provide them with alternatives so they don't fight over one thing.

In terms of size of the tank, I think it's nice for them to have a 3ft tank for when they each adult size- At least gives them some space to move around
