I did a quick search for them and unfortunately only came up with this dicky looking one  50 degrees in a few seconds isn't that bad, and re-usable! There are probably better ones that last longer out there...beats me http://www.latestbuy.com.au/hot_packs_lifestyle.html |

We've been blacked out for almost two weeks in the past from bush fires. We are regularly are blacked out for several hours when there are severe storms. There also has been talk about rolling blackouts because supply cannot meet demand, however the authorities have not stated how long these blackouts will last for yet.
Connecting a generator to your power box is possible but is expensive. A portable generator may be an option.
