Blue tongue feeding

Hey all,
I was just giving my blue-tongue some silkworms on Mulberry leaves. Anyway, being the physco that he is, he grabbed the leaf, went into his hide and is eating the leave as well as the worms. Anyway, my question is can Blue Tongues eat mulberry leaves?
Also, just for interest I have attached a few pics of my Bluey(Twister) eating his snails and 1 of his enclosure.
Enjoy!:

its a bit late now isnt it? to ask its its bad..

thats really horrible for your bluey, look how much sand he's eating.. depending on were the red sand was originally located from, it could have the same effect as calci-sand.. yes calcium based sands are sometimes 'natural' in the wild, but this doesnt mean its safe or ok to use, let alone natural in its texture and chemical make-up... lets use a bowl next time or at least a plate... even if its not calcium based sand, there is NO reason the sand cant impact him.

i always thought people had common sense.. and to answer your question, im not entirely sure if mulberry leaves would be 'ok' to feed him as a green, but the small amounts within the silkworm are ok, i dont recomend using the leafs as a green, or offering them again.

please be a little more responcible, after all your bluey isnt going to stop doing something.. it doesnt know its dangerous or even life threatening..

as far as i know both blueys and beadies can eat mulberry leaves, i'll have to give them a go with my lot who ae reluctant to eat things that don't move

i also agee with kirby about the sand, very risky with blue tougnes since they tend to gave food and face plant into substrate all the time getting t all over them and in their mouth. if you're feeding snails sand would obviusly stick a lot to them so under no circumstances shoulk they be fed while the bluey is no sand.... off topic i know but it's important, sand just isn't a good subtrate for them at all. i use fake grass with a pit of partitioned off repti-bark so they can still enjoy a good dig

Even though i have my little fella on sand and rest repti-bark, i would NEVER put his food on the sand for him to eat off. ALWAYS USE A DISH. I only use sand cus he likes to dig and have found it helps with shedding. He goes under his log wriggles around in the sand and off it comes. I take him out give him a bit of a spray down and allow him to dry off before putting him back.
