Blue Tongue Problem

My eastern blue tongue lizard sparkie has just recently started to bite herself. About a week ago she had mites but i've gotten rid of them and i cleaned and mite sprayed her tank today.
Can anyone help me here please.

Mites

Not sure if I can help but are you sure that you have actually removed all of the mites? There may be the jaw part of the mite still atached which could be causing inflammation and the only way in whcin the bluey can deal with it is to try and get it out itself.

The only other thing that I can think of is that it may have an infection.

If in doubt seek out a good vet.

Might be wrong but

I might be wrong but I would say that she my have a left over mites jaw which is causing inflammation. The only way she can deal with it is to attack the area in question as she has no hands with which to pick it out

I would say it still has mites too. The large scales on them help shield the mites from TOD. and it may take months before she is clean.
