The males start to become aggressive and walk in a jerking motion you can identify the males by this action and separate excess males to avoid damage by fighting.
They have a long gestation period of 3 to 5 months.
eastern blueys have 5 to 24 young in mid to late summer.
blotchies have 2 to12 young in early to mid autumn.
westerns have 3 to 10 young in late summer.
pygmy blue tongues have 1 to 4 young in feb / march.
centralians have 2 to 7 young in summer. |  | |
